Valentine’s Sugar Cookies

This is my absolute favorite sugar cookie recipe. I’ve been making these sugar cookies for as long as I can remember. The recipe is the one my mom has always used, and the cookies really do have the best flavor of any sugar cookie I’ve tried. The cookies are soft and melt in your mouth when you take a bite. My favorite way to frost these is with the cream cheese frosting shown here. I don’t spend a lot of time decorating my sugar cookies, just simply bake, frost, and enjoy!
