Top Recipes of 2014
Every year I enjoy looking back at the blog stats to see which recipes were most visited during the prior year. A few of the top 10 most viewed recipes this year were ones I shared prior to 2014 (like this Ricotta Orange Pound Cake and these Peach Pie Bars), but today’s roundup includes only the top recipes that I posted in 2014. I hope the list will inspire you to try something new in your kitchen!
Starting from #10 and working towards #1, here are the most popular recipes of 2014!
Sweet Potato and Black Bean Enchiladas – You guys know a good enchilada when you see one. Topped with a sour cream drizzle, these healthy enchiladas are just spicy enough.
Chicken Tortilla Casserole – This was the year of the skillet meal. Easy, one-pot cooking? Yes, please!
Healthy Carrot Cake Oat Muffins – Finding this one in the top ten surprised me, but it shouldn’t have. I’m glad you all like healthy muffins as much as I do!
Pumpkin Breakfast Cookies – This year I discovered my love for breakfast cookies. Now I pretty much always have a stash of them in my freezer. This pumpkin version is moist and full of dried cranberries and spice.
Skillet Baked Penne – I’m not surprised that another easy skillet meal made the list. This is one of our favorites!
No-Bake Energy Bites – These no-bake bites are quick to make, delicious, and healthy. They’re the perfect little grab and go snack!
Lemon Ricotta Cake with Almond Glaze – This one is way up there on my personal list of favorite recipes from the year. This cake is incredibly moist and bursting with lemon flavor. I’ve made it many times and can’t wait to make it again.
4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Granola – Here’s another recipe that’s a personal favorite. You need to try this easy peanut butter granola. You really do.
Broccoli Casserole from Scratch – This recipe took off like crazy this holiday season. Creamy broccoli casserole from scratch with a cheesy breadcrumb topping? Let’s not wait until next year to make this again, ok?
Pumpkin-Apple Breakfast Smoothie – The most popular recipe on my site this year. It’s also passed this Fluffy Vanilla Cake with Whipped Vanilla Bean Frosting to become my most popular post of all time. It tastes indulgent, but it’s packed with nutrition!
