Yogurt Breakfast Bowls 7 Ways (Dairy Free)
Dairy-free Yogurt Breakfast Bowls, made with creamy almond milk yogurt. These 7 delicious combinations of fruits, nuts, seeds and yogurt will keep your tastebuds happy!
Eating a balanced breakfast is an important way to get your day off to a good start. Which is why I believe in planning ahead when it comes to breakfast as well as dinner.
But… I’m not perfect. Sometimes I have every intention to prep overnight oats in the evening and then once the kids go to bed I’m just too tired. Or I forget. Oops.
Or I’ll decide to make a batch of homemade granola for the week during my Sunday food prep… and then run out of time. I’m an expert at over-planning my time, and sometimes weekends just get busy.
While I’m a big advocate for meal prep breakfasts, I also believe you need quick and easy breakfasts that you can make in minutes in the morning.
That’s where these Yogurt Breakfast Bowls come in. You can prep them in just minutes, using whatever you have on hand in your kitchen. These yogurt bowls have a good balance of protein, carbohydrates and fiber when you add fruits, nuts and/or chia seeds.
To make these yogurt bowls, I used my favorite non-dairy yogurt, Silk Almond Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative. Have you tried this yogurt? It’s super creamy and the vanilla flavor is made with real vanilla beans. So good! Silk’s almond milk yogurt is also a good source of live active cultures that are beneficial for digestive health.
It’s made with almond milk instead of dairy, and you can choose from vanilla, strawberry, peach, dark chocolate coconut and plain almond milk yogurt. The strawberry was my 8-year-old’s favorite. I’m partial to the vanilla and want to try the dark chocolate coconut next!

Once I started brainstorming flavor combinations for these Yogurt Breakfast Bowls, I couldn’t stop. I came up with 7 different versions. What would you add to your yogurt bowl?
Berry Almond Yogurt Bowl: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, sliced almonds
Peach Granola Yogurt Bowl: peaches, granola, sliced almonds
Tropical Yogurt Bowl: pineapple, kiwi, coconut flakes, chia seeds
Cherry Vanilla Almond Yogurt Bowl: fresh cherries, sliced almonds, vanilla yogurt
Banana Almond Butter & Chia Yogurt Bowl: bananas, almond butter, chia seeds
Orange Pecan Yogurt Bowl: fresh oranges, pecans, coconut flakes, chia seeds
Strawberry Melon Yogurt Bowl: strawberries, cantaloupe, chia seeds
Making these Yogurt Breakfast Bowls is easy!
- Use the fresh fruits that are in season. We love berries and stone fruits in spring/summer and apples, pears, oranges and pomegranate in fall/winter.
- Nuts add more filling fiber and protein to your bowl.
- A sprinkle of chia seeds adds crunch as well as fiber, protein and omega fatty acids.
- We love these bowls with Silk’s vanilla almond yogurt. I can’t wait to try their dark chocolate coconut yogurt topped with strawberries, coconut flakes and almonds!
