Refreshing Fruit Infused Water
This refreshing fruit infused water will make it easy to reach your goal of drinking eight glasses a day!
This fruit water is my latest obsession. If you have a hard time drinking your eight glasses a day, then you’ve got to try this. I actually love drinking plain water, and wouldn’t have any problem drinking enough of it, were it not for being so busy. Sometimes I just forget to sip water throughout the day.
When I have a glass of this refreshing fruit water, however, I’m much more likely to remember to stay hydrated. The flavors of the fruit, cucumber, and mint are infused into the water, making it taste amazing. You can adapt what you add to your water depending on your taste preferences. I’d recommend not putting too much mint or lime in your glass, as these flavors can get strong, fast. Just a little bit goes a long way.
Not only does this water taste great, but it’s also so pretty! That alone keeps me coming back for sip after sip.
It’s easy to get creative with this recipe. Raspberries or blackberries would be good substitutions for the strawberries or blueberries. You could even dress this up for the Fourth of July, by sticking to red and blue fruits and ice cubes. If you try any fun and yummy variations, let me know! You might also enjoy my lemonade recipe.
If you are entertaining, this is a great option for a fun, non-alcoholic beverage. I like to serve it in pretty mason jars or even wine glasses. I’d recommend placing a bowl of blueberries and strawberries with a spoon next to the pitcher or water dispenser. Your guests can pour themselves a glass of water from the pitcher, and then add a few strawberries and blueberries from the bowl, rather than trying to scoop some out of the pitcher. It’s much, much easier that way!
Refreshing Fruit Infused Water
Ingredients
- cold water*
- ice cubes
- blueberries
- strawberries, sliced
- cucumber slices
- lime slices
- fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Fill a pitcher (or glass) 2/3 of the way full with cold water. Add remaining ingredients, layering the colors if desired. (I put the blueberries on the bottom, then the ice cubes, lime slices, cucumber slices, mint, and strawberries.) Add more ice and water as needed.
- Serve a bowl of blueberries and strawberries alongside, if desired, for adding to individual glasses.
Notes
I always have a hard time drinking eight glasses of water a day, always! Even though I mainly drink just water, it’s so boring to me. So this would be the perfect water to try out! I love the added touch of mint, too. Looks delicious!
Thanks, Gayle! I usually just drink plain water, too, but this is much tastier and prettier!
This does look so refreshing! I don’t usually put fruit in my water, but I am going to try to do it more often this summer!
You really should try it! It’s a fun change from the usual plain glass of water. 🙂
